Ella Mae Ford, 95, went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2020, and now is in peace with our loved ones in heaven. She was born on March 15, 1925 in Bessemer, Alabama. At the age of 32 she moved to Mobile, AL and was married to Ben C. Ford. She started her career with Mobile School System at Dodge Elementary School for 14 years where she made many lifelong friends. She then pursued a career with Sams Club where she retired from at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her Father William Nunnally, her mother Sallie Nunnally, her husband of 48 years Ben C. Ford, her stepson Ronnie Ford, her son Darrell Sellers, her grandson Jason Sellers, her brothers John and Bill Nunnally and sisters Marie Raines, Edna Wachter, Lillian Hanby, Fannie Bunn and Sara Romano. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Judy Sellers, Granddaughter Candace Woods (Dustin), Grandson Kevin Sellers and two great grandchildren Jaxson Sellers and Chloe Sellers along with numerous nieces and nephews of hers that she loved very much. Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 28th, 2020 at 12:00 noon in the Honors Veterans area of the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6100 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, AL 36619.
