Obituary for Ellie Kemp Hall
Ellie Kemp Hall, age 99, was born December 10, 1923 in the Jay, Florida area. She passed away on May 25, 2023 in Mobile, AL. Her parents were Mary and Isaac Kemp. She was raised in the Jay, Florida area and lived in Pensacola for a short time. After the end of WW II she and her husband Ernest Sanders Hall moved to Mobile where they lived for the rest of their lives.
Ellie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband (Ernest), her son Larry and her daughter Sandra Miller. She is survived by her grandchildren Leigh Nettles (John) of Tallahassee and her grandson, Dale Hall, of Mobile. She is survived by her great grandchildren Clara Katherine Nettles and Celia Jane Nettles of Tallahassee. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Inez Hall of Fairhope and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. and Mrs. Hall were very active members of Central Baptist Church, Cottage Hill Baptist church and later the Tillman's Corner First Baptist Church. She was a secretary for Central Baptist School and Mae Eanes School. She was active at the Tillman's Corner Senior Center for several years. Mrs. Hall was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Ellie wished to thank all those who lovingly cared for her at Ashland Place Nursing Home and for the care and support she received from her daughter-in-law, Sharron.
We ask that any memorials to Ellie be made to the children's ministry of First Baptist Church of Tillman's Corner.

There will be a visitation for Ellie at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11 - 12 am and a graveside service to follow at 12 noon.
