Erica Stewart Mclaney, 40, died at Providence Hospital on August 16, 2021. She was the wife to Scott Mclaney and they recently celebrated their one year anniversary. She was preceded in death by her mother, Angie Stewart and grandmothers Katherine Brown and Leila Parden. Erica graduated from Baker high school and played for the band. She loved music and art and was a successful Insurance agent and worked diligently to serve her clients throughout the years and so many loved her. Erica loved her family immensely and all the family get togethers. Her greatest joy was being the mother to her two beautiful daughters - Taylor and Sydney Tanner and her 6 month old baby boy Grayson that she often referred to him as her little "toy" Erica and Scott had a collaborative and caring relationship. It was based on mutual support and deep love for each other. Erica always had a smile on our faces even during the hard times. She was adored and loved by everyone that knew her. Erica is survived by her husband, Scott- daughters/ Taylor and Sydney Tanner and son- Grayson Mclaney- Father-Larry Stewart and stepmother Karen Stewart- Sister- Renee (Jeff) Phillips -Peachtree City, Ga- brother Larry Stewart Jr- stepbrother Christopher (Laney) Andrews and stepsister- Brittany Andrews- Sister-n-law- Ashley Mclaney Nieces- Jordan (Jan) Van Linden Moreland, Ga- Caroline Johnson -nephews Adam Stewart- Nashville, TN-Robbie Mundinger III-Colorado Springs, Co - step nephews Shane and Parker Phillips Fayetteville, Ga- great niece Preslie Van Linden-great nephew, Liam Van Linden and step niece Morgan Phillips-Peachtree City, Ga.
