Eugene Frederick "Bo" Loeffler, Jr. - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Eugene Frederick "Bo" Loeffler, Jr.

September 12, 2022
Eugene Frederick "Bo" Loeffler, Jr. born July 31,1938 passed away at home on August 4, 2022. A native of Mobile, AL, Bo attended St. Joseph Catholic School, where as a boy he served Mass every morning, and was a proud graduate of McGill Institute. Following high school, he quickly enlisted in the US Air Force and proudly served with the Air Police. Keeping his promise to his high school sweetheart, he returned home after boot-camp to marry the love of his life, Betty Sue Brown. They were married for 67 years, and built a beautiful life in both Mobile, AL and Dauphin Island, AL. Following his military service, Bo became a proud and loyal employee to Motion Industries, Inc. His 45+ year career was abundantly filled with accomplishments, long lasting relationships, admiration, and overall pride. He remains, to this day, one of Motion Industries' most accomplished salesmen of all time; and he was proud to know that those at Motion still remember him fondly years after retirement. While he was proud of his career, his most prized possession was his family and the life he was able to provide them. Family times together at Dauphin Island were amongst his most cherished memories. He loved an early morning line pull from a speckled trout, boat rides on the "Skimmer", searching the beaches for driftwood, and watching his grandchildren throw the cast net just the way he taught them. Bo was preceded in death by his mother, father, and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Loeffler; brother Victor Loeffler (Yvonne); children Debra Connell, Karen Walker, and Eugene F. Loeffler, III; grandchildren W. Justin Rountree (Heather), Ross Rountree (Morgan), Kayla McKinley (John), Boyd Connell, Matthew Connell (Alyssa), Frederick Loeffler (Crystal), Noah Loeffler, and Chase Walker; great-grandchildren Mary Dempsey Rountree, Piper Rountree, Peyton Connell, Rowan Rountree, Ella Ford, Liam Loeffler, Matthew Connell, Jr., Roslyn Rountree, and soon-to-be-born Rosemary Connell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
