Frances J Byrd, 85, of Mobile Alabama, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend. She was a member of Fulton Road Baptist Church.
She worked years in the medical field and retired from Urology Associates in 2008. She loved to travel, especially trips to the local casinos with her husband, family and friends, she was full of life and loved by so many for her compassionate ways and loving advice.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 65 years Mr. Bobby Gene Byrd; Mother, Ruth A. Horton; Father, Herbert P. Horton and sister Jewel Faye Holley.
She is survived by her daughter Marchele Byrd Burtanog and son in law Dominic M. Burtanog; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday February 22, 2021 at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 11 am until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
