Frances Cumming left this earth on October 20th, 2019. She was about to turn 94, but instead went to be with her mother. Mom was born in Clear Lake, Minnesota as the 13th and last child in the farm family. She followed her brother’s guidance to complete nursing school. As a Registered Nurse, she raised us kids in Miami, Florida. From Miami mom moved to Mobile, then Saraland and lastly to Satsuma. Joys in her life included being able to care for her grandchildren when they were small. This wonderful woman loved pink, playing cards, flowers, laughing, glitter, and mostly shopping. She was a strong, caring, smart, loving, giving, beautiful, resourceful, and amazing woman. She is loved and will be missed by her children Christine Craig and Yates Greer, her grandchildren Carrie Williams (husband Dusty), Courtney Thomas (husband Josh) and Sean Greer, her great-grandchildren Hunter Williams, Eli Williams and River Thomas. You are loved and missed, mom. I will continue to pray for a cure for Alzheimer’s and dementia. A respectful request is made for the private services to be for immediate family only at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Friday.

A private graveside service will be held.
