Frank George Anthony, age 80 of Mobile, passed away peacefully at his home on July 22, 2022. A native of Birmingham, AL, he was the oldest child of Frank and Josephine (Corsentino) Anthony. He married Mary K. Portera, also of Birmingham, in 1965, and the couple proudly celebrated 57 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by their children, Donna Jo Anthony of Pensacola, FL and Steven C. Anthony (Denean) of Silverhill, AL; brothers Charles (Denise) and Vic; and brother-in-law, Cecil Portera (Mag). Frank was adored by his six grandchildren, Denise Carson (Aaron), Patrick Kucera (Lauren), Logan Anthony, Tony Kucera, Josh Anthony, and Mary Kate Anthony. Frank recently welcomed the birth of his first great grandchild, Sophia Grace Kucera, whom he joyously met in June. Frank and Mary have lived in Mobile for 47 years and are active members of Our Savior Catholic Church, including Frank's involvement as a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Frank loved spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, playing golf and was a longtime member of the Springhill Golf Course Men's Seniors.

Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 29 at Our Savior Catholic Church, 1801 Cody Road South, Mobile 36695, with a Catholic Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment immediately follows Mass at Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Our Savior Catholic Church.
