Gloriel Westmoreland, 81, of Mobile died Tuesday August, 8th at home with her family in Chickasaw. She was born Tuesday, January 20, 1942 in Mobile County.
Ms. Westmoreland was a member of First Baptist Church of Satsuma. She enjoyed the outdoors as well as camping and fishing. She loved attending her grandchildren's extra curricula activities such as concerts, and shows. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and catching the latest episodes of Big Brother, Survivor and Young Sheldon. She had her hand in real estate but above all, she loved doing things for and with her family.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, Mary and Gilbert Elijah Burnham Sr; her son, Dale Westmoreland; her brother, Gilbert Elijah Burnham Jr; Former husband and longtime friend Latrell Westmoreland.
She is survived by; her daughter, Annette Jolly; her grandson, Michael Jolly; her granddaughter, Ashlee Brownlee; her sister, Mary Joyce Fleming; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 17 from 8:30 am - 10 a.m. (8:30 - 9am reserved for family) at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Gardens in Mobile. Funeral services will be held in the chapel, Thursday, August 17 at 10:00 a.m. A committal Service will follow funeral service at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery,6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619. Brother Bob Barr will officiate.
