Harley "Chico" Everett Yates, age 84, of Citronelle, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020. "Chico" was born November 8, 1935 in Mobile, Alabama to Ruby Kittrel Yates and William Yates.
"Chico" is survived by children, Melanie Williams, Angie Young (Jimmy), Andy Yates (Alexa), and Summer Howard (Scott); brother, Max Yates; grandchildren, Ashley Maddox, Jarred Young (Jessica), Josh young, Luke Howard, Lily Howard, Ransom Yates, River Yates, and Rhett Yates; great-grandchildren, Jaden Young, Jasper Young, Jamie Young, Neveah Young, and Nylah Young; and nieces, nephews, family, friends.
"Chico" was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Yates; father, William Yates and mother, Ruby Kittrel Yates; sisters, Mavis Seals, Myra Terkeurst, and Sybil Yates, and brothers, William "Tud" Yates, Fred Yates, and Hall Yates.
A visitation for "Chico" will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36619 followed by interment.
