Helen Stanley Bryars, a native of Silas, AL and longtime resident of Saraland, AL, died Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, John Bryant Bryars, Jr.; her father, M.V. Stanley; her mother, Ivy Gertrude Koen Stanley; two brothers, James Franklin Stanley and Edward Tillman Stanley; and one sister, Betty Stanley Thomas. Her survivors include two sisters, Jane Stanley Garner and Bonnie Stanley Jones; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM from Lafitte Baptist Church, 3201 Lafitte Road, Saraland, AL. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until service. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. If attending, please comply with social distancing guidelines. Facial masks are required and will be available at the church for those who need one.

A church service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, 08/04/2020 from Lafitte Baptist Church, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
