Helen Gearlyne Prine Landry, age 76, of Semmes, AL, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Mrs. Landry was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She filled her home with laughter and love for her family. A stranger never walked into her home and there was always room at her table for one more. She was born March 11, 1943 to parents, Daniel Lee Prine and Gladys Emily Oneal Prine in Mobile, AL and married, Charles Raymond Landry, the love of her life on July 8, 1966. Mrs. Landry was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Samantha Dianne Lance; her parents, seven brothers and one sister. Her survivors include her husband of 53 years, Charles Raymond Landry; her daughter, Tracy (Tom) Host; son, Charles (Candy) Landry; five grandchildren, Rachael (Brian) Ledbetter, Ford Elise Host, Stephanie (Micah) Jaet, Ronald Lance and Zoe Landry; two great-granddaughters, Kara Host and Magnolia Ledbetter; nieces; nephews; extended family and friends. The family extends deepest gratitude to SAADS Healthcare and Mrs. Landry’s team of caregivers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Landry’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 12386 Sorrento Road, Suite A-2, Pensacola, FL 32507. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
