Hubert Howell, age 92, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Hubert was born August 28, 1928 in Carthage, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by parents John Dott and Murtle Howell. Mr. Howell retired from Craigs Meat Packing as a mechanic. He was a member of Church of God on Farnell Lane, loved his Lord and his family. He enjoyed fishing, loved working in the yard and Alabama football. Hubert is survived by his beloved wife, Mollie Howell, son and daughter-in-law Michael Howell (Kathy); and daughter and son-in-law Dolores Richey (Thomas), grandchildren; Thomas Richey, Jr. (April), Samuel Richey (Dawn), and Tammy Ladner (Chris).
He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside services for Mr. Howell will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6010 Three Knotch Rd., Mobile, Alabama.
