Inez Emmons Stoudenmier, 93, a native of Pineview, AL and resident of Mobile, AL for over 70 years, died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Grand Bay Convalescent Home. She and her husband were former owners of George’s Grocery and Coin-Op Laundries. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George C. Stoudenmier; her parents, Carney and Stella Emmons; nine brothers and sisters and son-in-law, Henry Busch. Her survivors include her son, Harold (Carol) Stoudenmier; two daughters, Camille Busch and Renee (Joel) Travis; seven grandchildren, Charles, Teena, Marcee, Terra, Melissa, Jenee and Tessa; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Grand Bay Convalescent Home for the excellent care she received these past two months and also the staff of Crown of Springhill Assisted Living. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mrs. Stoudenmier’s name be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place #260, Memphis, TN 38105. Pallbearers will be David, Donald, Jerry and Kenny Reed, Jim Cummings and Bruce Nystrom. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, 01/10/2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
