James L. Revette, Sr. Dec. 31, 1933 - Jan. 10, 2023 James (Jim) L. Revette, Sr. of Mobile, AL, passed from this life to victory on Jan. 10, 2023 at the age of 89. Jim lived a life full of love and adventure with his family; aircraft mechanic at Brookly AFB; various automotive businesses; ventures owning the Ala-Miss Speedway; owning Stunt Cars Unlimited which provided services for many Hollywood movies made in Mobile. Jim became known as the "King of 8 Mile" to his abundant friends and business associates. He was a active longtime member of Woodridge Baptist Church. Officiating the celebration is Dr. Mack Morris and Dr. Garry Harred. Jim grew up in Stateline, MS, the son of David and Hazel Helton Revette. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ginger Revette; Pop's 2 sons: Kim (Erin) and Jim, Jr. and his 4 daughters: Tina Phelps, Tara Gardner, Dani Roland, and Gemi Velaski; 14 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grand children. Pallbearers will be his Grandsons: Justin Revette, Glenn Gardner, Garrett Gardner, Jeffrey Phelps, James Revette, III, Barrett Roland, Elijah Velaski, Colton Velaski.
