Janice Courtney Steade, 83, of Mobile, AL passed away on January 19, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.
Janice was born in Mobile, AL on November 7, 1940 to James A Dixon, Sr and June Courtney Dixon. She loved playing bingo and was secretary to the former DA of Mobile, John Tyson, for 30 years. Janice was loved by everyone who knew her and her love for her family and her laughter will always be remembered.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, James A Dixon, Sr and June C Dixon; one brother, James "Jimmy" A Dixon Jr; and one sister, June "Honey" Dixon.
She is survived by 5 sons, 1 daughter 3 sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Janice's family will honor her memory with a funeral service on Saturday January 27, 2024, at 12:00 pm from the graveside at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 27 beginning at 11:00 am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
