Jimmy Burl Holcombe received God's gift of eternal life on April 28,2024, while in rehabilitation following a stroke. Born in Winfield, Alabama on February 25, 1934, Jimmy lived most of his 90 years in Tuscaloosa and in Mobile. Jimmy's family is the of his life for 70 years, Clara; daughter Lisa ( Jay) Meeks; and grandchildren, Brayden and Kensley. Though an only child, Jimmy was blessed through marriage with many brothers and sisters, their spouses, and their children. With the Lord are Jimmy's parents, Burley and Era Holcombe, and his heroic son, Mike. Jimmy held many titles during his 40 years' service with AT&T, 4 years active duty in the Air Force, and 17 years' service in the military reserves. Bit his favorite role was husband and best friend Clara, indescribable Dad to Mike, Lisa, and Jay (son-in-law), and fun-loving "Manch" to Brayden and Kensley. Jimmy accepted Christ at 12, loved Jesus, and shared the gospel throughout his life.

The graveside service/ interment will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery with full military honors.
