John Michael Flannigan, age 60, a lifetime resident of Mobile, AL went home to Jesus on Wednesday May 29, 2019. Mike was the oldest of six children. He worked construction in Mobile after attending Shaw High School and helped build Springhill Memorial Hospital and numerous apartment buildings throughout the Port City.
He was an avid muscle car enthusiast and owned several Ford Mustangs through the years. In contrast to his affinity for fast and tough cars, Mike’s demeanor was gentle and easy going. He was soft spoken and unassuming. He loved family, country cooking, Coca-Cola and classic rock.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Emery Flannigan. He is survived by his mother Thelma Ophelia Flannigan; brothers Steve Flannigan of Mobile, Robert Flannigan of Houston, TX, William (Bill) Flannigan of Cantonment, FL, Scott Flannigan of Spanish Fort, AL, sister Mary Susan Flannigan of Houston, TX; and eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday June 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, 06/01/2019 from Radney Funeral Home on Daupin Street, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
