John Paul Miller Jr. - Mobile Memorial Gardens

John Paul Miller, Jr., age 84, of Semmes, AL, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018.
He was born on June 21, 1934 in Mobile, AL to Marie Agnes Cain Miller and John Paul Miller, Sr. He attended St. Matthews School and graduated from McGill Institute. He joined the National Guard of Alabama and, upon receiving an honorable discharge, enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX, Andrews AFB Washington, DC, Rhine/Main AFB, Germany and Eglin AFB, Florida. Upon receiving an honorable discharge, he enrolled at the University of Alabama. After graduation, Johnny worked for various companies in the linen rental business and eventually owned his own company. During this time of service, attending college and working, he married and had four children. After selling his company and during his second marriage he worked various positions for several companies. Before and after retirement he enjoyed fishing, going to the casinos, yard work and traveling.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Michael Donald Miller. His survivors include his wife of 34 years, Linda H. Miller; his sons, John P. Miller, III and Patrick W. Miller both of Panama City, FL, and his daughter, Kathleen (Buck) Schnadelbach; grandson, Donald Watson; great-granddaughter, Allison Watson, all of Pensacola, FL; his sister, Patricia (Carl) Long; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will immediately follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
