Jorene Philen Lane, age 81 and resident of Mobile, AL passed away March 24, 2023, in Mobile, AL.
Mrs. Lane was born to Oliver O'Neal Philen and Mabel Walton Philen on January 15, 1942, in Sumiton, AL. She graduated from Semmes High School and owned her own business, Jorene's Floral Designs. She loved cooking, hosting family events, decorating for the holidays and spending time with family. She was a member of Pathway Church where she enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She cherished her retirement with her husband, Donald Lane.
Mrs. Lane was receded in death by her parents, Oliver and Mabel Philen; brother, Maurice Wayne Philen; nephew, Gary Wayne Goalen.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Grant Lane; sons, Donald Alan Lane, Grant Matthew Lane; daughter-in-law, Tracy Lane; granddaughters, Sarah Lane, Jenna Patterson, Ashlyn Lane and Mia Lane; sister, Margarette P. Goalen; nephews, Mark Goalen, Greg Goalen and Todd (Melodie) Goalen; nieces, Maris (Jim) Stone; great-grandsons, Nolan Patterson and Stryker Patterson; many more loving family members that she cherished in her heart and many dear friends that she acquired over the years while living on this Earth.

Services will be Friday, March 31, 2023, with visitation from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Jorene Lane was a positive influence in my life. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I’m thankful to have known her. I’m praying for her family and friends for their loss.
