Mrs. Joyce Ann Fondren passed away on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the age of 80. She was surrounded by her family. She was born on May 6, 1939 in Columbus, GA to the late Ernest Bell and Asalee Goggins Smithey.
She loved to attend Church and Gospel singings with her friends and family. She enjoyed going to play bingo and casinos. She loved going camping and the outdoors. She is a member of the Senior Citizens Club on Three Notch Rd.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James Harvey Fondren, Sr., one daughter, Angela Fondren, one sister, Bonnie Sproston and one son-in-law, Reggie Tillman.
She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Tillman of Mobile, Al; two sisters, Betty Barlow and Billie (Frankie) Hall; one brother Danny (Pat) Dixon; grandchildren, Willis (Shauna) Tillman, Robbie (Holly) Fondren, Michelle Fondren, Jason (Amanda) Tillman, Amy (Paul) dewberry, Angela (Michael) Belcher, Jared (Brandi) Tillman, 21 great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 10 am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm.
Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, 10/15/2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
