Joyce McElroy Jackson
1947-2019
A native of Meridian, MS and resident of Mobile, AL died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the age of 72. Mrs. Jackson was a School Teacher in Mobile and California and Real Estate Agent in Mobile and Houston, TX. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama and Masters degree from Auburn University. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Allen Jackson. She is survived by her children, Michael McElroy (Julie) Synyard and Ashleigh Angel Jackson; siblings, Kathy (Bob) McElroy Summer, Richard (Leeanne) McElroy and Janet (Bob) Richardson; grandchildren, Orion Jackson and Jackson Synyard. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
