Katherine Ann Brown Pridgeon, Age 88; a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama died Friday, July 4, 2025. Ann was a graduate of the Convent of Mercy High School (class of 1954) and Providence School of Nursing. She graduated from Spring Hill College at age 40 and was nurse to Drs. Brown and Tunstall for many years. She retired from a long career with Senior Citizen Towers. She was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Church where she was a member of the Legion of Mary. Ann was preceded in death by Murray Pridgeon, her husband of 60 years; Jane Carroll, her sister; and Fred Brown, her brother. She is survived by her daughter, Kate Pridgeon Adler (Jonathan) of Syracuse, New York; two grandsons, Benn Adler of New York City, New York, and Noah Adler of Syracuse, New York; one brother, William H. Brown (Beth) of Mobile, Alabama; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Pridgeon of San Antonio, Texas; many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Aveanna Hospice and Gentle Love and Care for the care shown to Ann.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 in the Sarto Center at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
