Katherine and her husband, Jack, opened Watson's Pharmacy on Navco Rd. in 1961 and enjoyed working together and getting to know their community for over 27 years. Over the years, Katherine loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking amazing meals, traveling, hosting dinner parties, tending to her plants, and opening her home to anyone who needed a warm meal or a place to lay their head. Like a true southern lady, her lips and nails were always painted, and every Saturday during football season you could find her cheering on the Ole Miss football team. Katherine was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church, and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. A special thanks to the incredible staff at Murray House and Saad's Hospice Retreat Facility for loving on our sweet Katherine as she neared the end of her life. Visitation will be Friday, May 28th, 2021 from 12:00-2:00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services and burial will take place at 2:00pm in the chapel at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
