Larry Gilmore, Sr. was born August 19, 1946, to the late Johnny & Jean Gilmore. He was called from the earthly life on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, surrounded by his children in the comfort of his home in Grand Bay, Alabama. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 47 years Marsha Gilmore, his son John E. Gilmore and his grandson Larry Gilmore III.
Left to cherish the wonderful memories of Larry will be his son Larry Gilmore, Jr. (Shelley) his daughter Michelle Bradford (Michael) his three grandsons Aaron Cain, Adam Gilmore (Shelby), and Preston Gilmore. His three granddaughters Jessica Gilmore, Sonja Gilmore, and Hailey Trehern. His three great-grandsons Matthew Gilmore, Jonathan Gilmore, and Mason Gilmore and his great-granddaughter RaeLynn Gilmore. His three brothers Tommy Gilmore (Linda), Billy Gilmore (Janet), and Jimmy Gilmore (Sherry) and his sister Janell Cisneros (Jesse) and numerous extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
