Lillie Mae May, age 85, passed away in the comfort of arms who loved her dearly on April 3, 2022 in Mobile, AL. She was born January 4, 1937 in Valhermoso Springs, AL to Marvin and Violet Fowler.
Mrs. May was an accomplished homemaker who kept a beautifully immaculate home. She painted her own walls, canned her own food, and loved caring for her cats and feeding the wild birds that would come visit her yard. She was a skilled seamstress and cook and loved being able to clothe and feed her family by her own hands. She will be deeply missed by those closest to her.
Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband, George T. May III and mother, Violet Fowler.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Deborah Ann (Will) Hall, George T. May IV, Elizabeth May, Jackie May, Wesley (Nita "Neet") May; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2022 at 2:00pm in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Guests should line up in procession in the parking area between Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and the cemetery.
