Lynda Smallwood Ladymon, esteemed attorney, died July 16, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas at a local hospital. Born November 4, 1957 in Mobile, AL, Lynda graduated law school from St. Mary's University School of Law having received her undergraduate degree at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, where she was an officer in Chi Omega sorority. Lynda loved her ability to help others through her law practice, she loved animals, loved her family and most of all being Dylan's mom. Baptized as a child at Castle Hills Baptist Church in San Antonio and later in the Jordan River with her dad; she believed in the power of prayer.
Lynda never met a stranger, and loved going to her family beach home in Gulf Shores, where she could walk the beach and visit with extended family. She loved cooking for her family, sailing her sail boat on Canyon Lake, was an avid scuba diver. She was one of the rare people who could go to a restaurant by herself and leave with 12 new friends.
Lynda is survived by her son, Dylan Rogers, her parents, Robert C. (Tex) and Jerri McConnell Smallwood, her brother Robert, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, with the funeral at noon at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a private graveside and burial.
