Last Saturday night,June 13, 2020, the sun set on our 99 year old Mom, Lois Bernice Parker, nee Burdett. She was born on Feb 16, 1921 in Mobile, AL. She had another fall and this one did her in! But the grand old lady had a long life and was beloved by many. Married in 1937 to Orin Harvey Parker, Jr, she brought into this world 5 children—Orin Harvey Parker, III, Donald L. Parker, Sharon Eisworth, Richard W. Parker (deceased) and Michael D. Parker-- who collectively gave her 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild to enjoy. We had so many good years to share our lives with her and to see her age gracefully. We are saddened at her loss but, at the same time, so thankful for the times we had with her. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel. Graveside service with the immediate family will follow the service.
