Louisa P. Miller, born on June 6, 1923, transitioned to her heavenly home on August 16, 2019. The daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Banks and Rev D. W. Perkins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Cosby (Chicago, II) and her son, Rev. Charles J. Miller Jr., (Mobile, AL).
She leaves four daughters to cherish her memories - Mary E.Miller and Janice M. Miller (Mobile), Gloria J. January (Chula Vista, CA.) Katherine Miller Harris (Harvey, LA). Louisa P. Miller will also be missed by her grandchildren: Ronald Thomas (Chicago,II), Robert J. January, III and Anthony J. (Kelly) January (Chula Vista, CA), Timothy J.January (San Diego, (CA), Rene'J. January (Michelle) (Canyon Country, (CA), Michael J. (Dr. Sharon) January (Alpharetta, GA), Pete (Mary) Hives (Montgomery, AL), Dr. Blayne Harris (Austin, TX). Her great grandchildren will miss her dearly: Shamara and Shameka Hives, Michael J. Jr., Wesley, Grant, and Kennedy January, along with Jacob January and Luke January.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 27, 2019, 11:00am at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL.
