Luke Gaither - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Luke Gaither

Condolences For
"Luke Gaither"

  1. We were stationed here with Luke from the beginning of ATC Mobile. A great shipmate and friend. I know he will be missed by all.
    Everett and Maxine Taylor

  2. I've known Luke from the early days of Coast Guard ATC Mobile. He was always available to anyone that needed his help - in their Coast Guard career or personal life. He was one of those guys you always wanted to be like! I enjoyed "catching up" with him when I was able to return to Mobile for the annual "Old Timers" picnic and at other Coast Guard events we both attended. I'll miss him.

  3. I've known Luke since my family and I came to Mobile over 37 years ago. He and I spent many hours playing shuffleboard and pool at the old Gator Lounge. One of the fondest memories I have of Luke is that whenever he laughed, it was a real "Belly Laugh". We will miss him always.

  4. Luke,my long time friend, I'll miss ya! I remember the late night flights out of Puerto Rico on Westinghouse cargo planes for business trips @!$%*&
    Dan and Karen Davis

  5. Luke and I myself were stationed together at ATC Mobile several years and we worked well together on the job and on the golf course. RIP my friend and prayers go out to your family

  6. Luke was one of the first friendly faces I saw when I came to ATC Mobile as a young AD2 in 1979. I first met Luke through a mutual friend, Paul Young, and that started a great conversation that lasted throughout the years. He provided personal mentorship, leadership, and friendship that I will be forever greatful. We stayed in contact through mutual friends and get togethers at the OLD TIMERS PICNIC. I know he will be missed by all, our prayers go out to Luke's family. RIP.
