Madeline Houston Beck, a long-time resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, at the age of 79.
Madeline was born on April 5, 1942 in Mobile, Alabama to Harold and Mary Katherine Houston. Madeline was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Benjamin Clyde Beck. Madeline is survived by her daughter Michelle Daoust (Scott), granddaughters Sara Katherine and Hannah, her sister Barbara Lee (Gordon), and many nieces and nephews.
Madeline spent her working years at the US Army Corps of Engineers where she worked in Resource Management.
Madeline loved spending time with her husband and family .She loved to travel and was involved in several local clubs .She was a part of the Modern Study Club, the Jubilee Travel Club, Zonta Club, and spent many years on the Murphy High School Class of 1960 reunion committee.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6 from 9:00-10:00 am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with a graveside service at 10:00 am in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
