Margaret Delores (Carter) Holsombeck, 88, of Saraland, AL, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on October 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Delores was born on April 13, 1937, in Bessemer, AL. and graduated from Bessemer High School. On May 27, 1955, she married the love of her life, James Aubrey Holsombeck. Together they built a life marked by devotion, faith, and love. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Delores delighted in caring for her family. She found joy in cooking, supporting her children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren in their many pursuits, as well as spending time camping with her husband and family. Her life was defined by service - to her family, friends, church, and community. She took to heart the words of Jesus who said, “The greatest among you will be your servant.” She is survived by her children - James Holsombeck (Janet), Deborah Rachel (Ernie), and Steve Holsombeck; her seven grandchildren - Jessica Sanderson (Steven), Tyler Holsombeck (Brandi), Michelle Dobbins (Scott), Chad Rachel (Amanda), Chase Rachel, Brett Holsombeck (Taylor), and Lauren Lawrence (Zach); and eleven great grandchildren - Aubreigh, Abigail, and James Sanderson; Adilynn and Haven Holsombeck; Myleigh and Maddox Dobbins; Cayman Rachel; and Henry, Charlotte, and Rhodes Holsombeck. She is also survived by her brother, Roger Carter, and a host of other relatives whom she dearly loved. Delores’ legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to gather at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Tuesday, October 4, 2025 2025, at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate her life and faith.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL, immediately followed by a funeral service in the chapel. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens 6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619.
