Margaret Dolores (Santa Cruz) Chaudron-McDonald

Dolores was born on January 1, 1965, in Mobile to Barbara Ann Webb and Robert Campbell Santa Cruz. She grew up on Dauphin Island Parkway and attended B.C. Rain High School. After graduating, she began what would become a 36-year career with the United States Postal Service. Above all, Dolores was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother whose strength and devotion shaped the lives of everyone who knew her. She is survived by her father, Robert Santa Cruz and stepmother Jackie Santa Cruz; her children, Ashley Chaudron (Carlos), Brian McDonald, and Abby Chaudron; her grandchildren, Calloway Cruz Robinson and Ava Ray; and many cousins and close friends who loved her deeply. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Webb, and her brother, Samuel Glenn Santa Cruz. Dolores will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and gentle compassion. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, tending to her plants, traveling, and caring for her beloved dog, Charlie. She was deeply devoted to her family and to those she held close. Her presence brought comfort, and her loyalty was a gift to all who shared life with her. Her legacy lives on in the people she supported, encouraged, and loved so fiercely. Dolores will be missed beyond words and forever cherished by those whose lives she touched.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Radney Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
