A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 87. Mrs. Wilson was a graduate of Murphy High School Class of 1950 and Southwest State Technical College where she became an LPN at the age of 54. She spent 18 years working at Springhill Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Sage Avenue Baptist church, and she loved her family more than anything. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Carlton R. Wilson, three brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by two siblings, Clarence (Theresa) Keevan, and Jean (Charles) Taylor. She also is survived by her three children, Robert (Leslie) Wilson, Jackie (David) Swann and Kelly (Jimmy) Ramanauskas, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home followed by graveside services and interment at 12:00 P.M. in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
