Mark Pepper Stubblefield – a 69 year-old native of Columbia, Mississippi and long-time resident of Mobile passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020. He was a graduate of Murphy High School, the University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama. Mr. Stubblefield retired from the Mobile County Health Department in 2006 after many years of service. He was a faithful member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church and an avid fisherman who loved spending time on the water. Mr. Stubblefield was preceded in death by his parents, Gaines and Mary Stubblefield. He is survived by his brothers, Bill Stubblefield (Janet) and David Stubblefield (Sandy); nieces and nephews, Gaines Stubblefield (Kelly), Elizabeth Stubblefield, Ben Stubblefield (Carrie), Jonathan Stubblefield (Erin), and Christopher Stubblefield; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, February 28, 2020, at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Dauphin Way Baptist Church to be used to further the Gospel.

A chapel service will be held at 3pm on Friday, 02/28/2020 from Radney's Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
