We are sad to announce the passing of Martha Nan Troche of Mobile, Alabama where she passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024. She was born on July 6, 1926, in El Dorado, Arkansas. As a child she resided in French Camp, Mississippi. Her parents relocated to Mobile, Alabama when she was a young teen along with her sister. After attending Murphy High School in Mobile, she went on to a professional career in retail for Eckerd Drugs, Harco, and Rite Aid. She met and married her spouse Gregory Troche in 1944. They had two loving children Harold Troche and Martha Jo Perryman. Mrs. Troche was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Jewel Fair, her husband, Gregory Troche, her children, Harold Troche and Martha Jo Perryman, her sister, Majorie Brenes and nephew, David Brenes.
Some of her favorite hobbies included cooking, talking with friends, hosting holiday events, and being with her family. After retirement, Martha Nan enjoyed a quiet but fulfilling life at her personal residence. A year ago, she decided to move into Crowne Assisted Living where her rewarding life continued. Some of her favorite activities there included exercise, Bingo, and listening to live music.
