Mary Anna Sargent was born November 10, 1927 in Greensboro, Alabama. She passed away in Mobile, Alabama on November 9, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful mother who was always there for her family and will be dearly missed.She was preceded in death by her mother Francis M. Chapman, father Raymond E. Chapman, brother Joseph R. Chapman Sr, sister Eloise F.Cotton, granddaughter Melanie A. Rawlins. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Mason (Larry), sons Lennie R. Hawkins, and Marion J. Hawkins (Jill). Grandchildren Jason E. Hawkins (Hollie), Justin T. Hawkins. Great grandchildren Lexi Rawlins, Tony J.Rawlins Jr, Miyah Hawkins. Great great granddaughter Emma Grace Harris, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed many years as a member of Polka Dots Mardi Gras Society. She retired from Preventative Maintenance Truck Services in Prichard, AL. Funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, located at 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL on Thursday November 14, 2019. Visitation will be 11 AM to 12 PM with the service following at 12 PM in the Chapel. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
