Mary is survived by her son, Albert B. Tanner, Jr. and his wife, Bing, and daughters, Melanie Lyons and Rhonda Posey, 6 grandchildren, Amy Lyons Burke, Jody & Tanner Lyons, Kristin Posey, Keith Posey, & Melissa Harris and 7 great-grandchildren, Jude, Eden & John Burke, III, Layla, Lyric, Sydney & Skylar Motes. And a sister, Ruth Driskell.
She is preceded by her parents, George and Delphine Elliott, and brothers, Robert, Luther, Charlie and Earl Elliott and sisters, Lula Mae Wells, Georgia Mae Sheffield, Mellonee Miller, Bernice Harrison and Rose Mosley Lankheit.
Mary was born December 10, 1935 in Mobile, Alabama. Her Faith and children were essential in her life.
