Mrs. Mary “Sue” Fleming FlowersBorn on November 2, 1944 in Waynesboro, MS; passed away Sunday, November 29. 2020 in Semmes, Alabama. Sue grew up the third of four siblings, the daughter of Sam and Maurice Fleming. She was a 1963 graduate of Murphy High School where she met her husband of 50 years. Sue married John A. Flowers on February 21, 1964 and together they raised three children. She was dedicated to building a home that her family would be proud of and guests were welcomed with a cup of coffee. Sue could be seen watching her family spend time together knowing they would enjoy the cake that had been baked because she had already sampled the icing. She loved babies and would often reminisce of her own babies whenever she held a child. Over the years, her children blessed her with six grandchildren to love and dote on. Sue loved antiquing adventures, the companion of a dog among other things, but her greatest treasure was the life she built with her husband. She is survived by her children Randy (Kathy) Flowers, Ashley (John) Billingsley and Russell (Kim) Flowers; and her grandchildren Josh, Brandon, Jordon, Shelby, Seth, and Ben Riley; and 2 great grandchildren; her siblings Charles Kelly, Nadine Mosely, and Robert Fleming. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, John A.
