Mary Alfie (Pritchard) Nichols, a native of Pontotoc, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Hoit Nichols; her parents, Woodford Isaac Pritchard and Susie Mae McCullough Pritchard; her son, James Alton Smith, Jr.; a granddaughter, Cynthia Sorrells and a great-granddaughter, Madison Sorrells. Her survivors include her children, Mary Joanne (Johnny) Hager, Rickey Lee (Terry) Smith, Kathy Smith Skipper and Debbie Smith (Glenn) Broadus; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Chaplain Shawn Mizelle, will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until service time.

A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, 03/03/2020 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
