Mary E. Turner, age 87, a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 11, 2021. She lived a great life, which involved her passions of sewing and crafts. She was a devoted Christian to her Lord and God her savior and was always willing to give the gift of love and help those around her. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Alice M. Larsen and Marion F. Larsen (Happy); her brother Marion Francis (Sonny); her husbands, Murdock McKennis Smith (father of her children) and Edward L. Turner; and her stepson Clyde Turner. She is survived by her 4 children, Russell (Debbie) Smith, Charlie (Toy) Smith, Karen (Walter) Roten, Randy (Kathy) Smith; and her stepson Earl Turner. Mary was a wonderful MeeMaw to 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Violet Stauter. Visitation and services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday April 16, 2021 starting with family at 10:00 AM and continuing with friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with the service following immediately after in the Chapel with Reverend Ray Anderson officiating.

A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Friday, 04/16/21 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home followed by a commital service at the grave site.
