Maury Patrick Pierce, age 62, and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, was born on September 17th, 1957, and passed on March 1st, 2025. Maury worked at Hancock Electric after graduating high school, working on electric motors, welding machines, and generators. He then went to work at Middleton Marine. Maury loved hunting and fishing and loved teaching Patrick, Breanne, Kaylee, Emiley, and Hannah how to fish and drive his boats. Maury spent many nights fishing, walking the bay gigging flounder, or just sitting enjoying the bay.
Maury is preceded in death by; his father, Charles Patrick Pierce; his mother, Jewel Broadus Pierce; his grandson, Brantley Cole Pierce; and his nephew, Hunter Patrick Lins.
Maury is survived by; his loving wife Theresa "Tessie" Pierce; his daughter, Heather Breanne Pierce; his son, Maury Patrick Pierce Jr.; his granddaughter, Kaylee Anne Wilson; his sisters, Cloye Brown, and Joy (Jimbo) Walker; Though legally listed as brother and sister in-laws, they were loved like brothers and sister, Kathey Lilley, Will Lilley, and Frank Lilley.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 6th, 2025, at 1:30 P.M., at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th, 2025, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
