We are very, very saddened at the loss of Melba. We have shared several conversations over the years (especially in the past year). It was always a pleasure to talk to Melba. She always had wonderful things to say about Kevin's mother, G. Bernice, and asked about all of our kids. She always looked forward to receiving our Christmas letter and really missed it when we were not able to send the small calendar we included each year.
Melba always focused on how well she was doing, even when COVID kept all of us more confined. She always thankful for how well she was doing, but worried about Bernice, how she was doing and her happiness.
I'll miss our occasional phone calls and our Christmas correspondence.
