Resident of Mobile, Alabama, Melvin Seymour, age 83, passed on July 27, 2023. He was born on February 26, 2940 in Mobile, Alabama. Mr. Seymour joined The Coca Cola Bottling company in 1971 and remained as a senior management member until his retirement. He was instrumental in implementing the first can line at the Mobile Plant and was very highly regarded within the company by management and his peers.
Melvin is survived by; his wife, Kathryn Seymour of Mobile; son, Eugene Seymour of Orange Beach; daughter-in-law, Jill Seymour of Orange Beach; sister, Barbara Mason of Jayess, MS, and Mary Haas of Oakharbor, WA; sister-in-law, Sara M'Cormack of Mobile; brother-in-law, Gordon Allen of Mobile.

Graveside services for Melvin will take place Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, at 12 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Eugene Seymour officiating. Visitation will be held prior to services from 11:30 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
