Michael Chad Bowman, Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died suddenly and unexpectedly Monday, August 3, 2020 at the age of 41. Chad was a member of South Coast Church; attended Baker High School; and had been employed as an automobile technician for Auto Air of Alabama for over 20 years. He loved life and, above all, loved spending quality time with his children, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Curtis L. and Peggy L. Bowman. His survivors include his five children, Maddie Carpenter, Marybeth Bowman, Michael Bowman, Mason Bowman and Mallory Bowman; his mother, Deborah Bowman; his loyal and best friend, Jay Rhodes; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. If attending, please comply with social distancing guidelines. Masks are required.
