On May 12, 2023, at the age of 71, we lost our loved one, Michael Dean Knowles. Mike, or “Pops” as his children would call him, was a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama. He was a Vietnam War Veteran in the United States Army. He enjoyed telling jokes to make people laugh and he loved to watch standup comedy. He never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. Mike was an avid car enthusiast, he had a passion for hot rods and racing, as he was a diesel and gas mechanic. He had a passion for wrestling which he had the benefit of officiating. Mike was also fond of fishing and took joy in spending time outdoors. He loved Alabama football and never missed a chance to say, “Roll Tide!” Mike will be missed dearly. May he Rest In Peace.

Surviving relatives - wife of 30 years Gail Knowles, Mobile, six children, sons -Tony Knowles, Mobile, Matthew Knowles, Mobile, Jason Knowles, Mobile, Chris Williams, Colorado, Mikey Knowles, Mobile, Daughter - Megan (Devon) King Robertsdale AL, his sister Vikki (John) Ponder, Mobile, 2 stepdaughters, Miriah (Alex) Andrianopoulos, Mobile, Mary Cox, Mobile, 16 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
