Ms. Grace, as I always called her, was a true friend. I loved her for many reasons, but mostly because, with her, I felt I could do anything I set my mind to. She would come up with projects and I would tell her ,” I don’t know how to do that. I have never done it before.” And she would tell me that she would talk me through it. We never once failed! She taught me about gardening, painting, cooking, housekeeping, friendship, the importance of family and your family history, and so much more. We always enjoyed having good meals together (on the pretty plates), talking, and laughing.
I will miss you, Ms. Grace, my wonderful friend!
