Charles Thurmon Bell, age 78, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at his home in Mobile Alabama. He was born September 23, 1945, to Charles and Marjorie Bell. Three daughters and 6 grandchildren survive him. Kimberlee Bell, children Hanah Mabire and Michael Mabire, Christi Tijerina (Alex Tijerina), children Alex Tijerina and Gabriel Tijerina, Virginia Bell, children Taylor Bell and Braxton Bell.
Thurmon was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He had a passion for cars and racing since his youth. This year he was honored with an invitation to join the Alabama Auto Racing Pioneers. He was a longtime member of the Red Elephant Club and Mobile Big Game Fishing Club. His favorite pastime however was all things Alabama Football. The Crimson Tide has lost their greatest fan. He was a loving father, grandfather, and loyal friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
