William David Craft was born in Millry, Alabama on December 5, 1948. He passed on July 22, 2022, at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. He resided in Mobile, Alabama for many years. He was known to his friends and family as "Billy".
He is preceded in death by his parents David William Craft and Alverlean Tate Craft and his wife Darlene Maxwell Craft.
He was one of eight children; brothers: Cecil Craft (Betty), Glenn Craft (Melanie), Robert Craft, William B. Craft (Mack); sisters: Patricia Craft Thompson (Wayne), Virginia Craft Thompson (Lenny), Diane Craft Whigham (Shane). He had many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who loved him dearly.

A graveside service will be held for him at Mobile Memorial Gardens cemetery at 6100 Three Notch Road Mobile Alabama on Friday August 12, 2002, at 11:00 a.m.
