John Wesley Holt May 6, 2003-February 21, 2023
Our beautiful son went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday February 21, 2023. After a brief hospital stay, he succumbed to injuries received on Saturday night. John Wesley is preceded in death by his Grandparents: Myrtle and Louis Holt of Mobile; Aunt: Sherri Glenn and Uncle: Wayne Glenn of Verbena, AL. John Wesley is survived by his parents: Florencia Pischek Holt and Terry L Holt of Mobile; two sisters: Nicole (Luis) Morales of Mobile, Michaela Holt of Auburn and two brothers: Terry L Holt II (Mary Gene) of Knoxville and Larson Holt of Mobile; Grandparents: Peter and Delia Pischek; Longtime Girlfriend: Samantha Cochran of Mobile; five uncles: Stan (Conna) Holt of Alabaster, Roberto (Cheryl) Pischek of Silverhill, Sergio Pischek of Chicago, Pablo (Dawn) Pischek and Edward (Angie) Pischek of Mobile; three nieces: Susannah and Sophie Holt of Knoxville, Valentina Morales of Mobile; nephew: Silas Holt of Knoxville, Tn. John Wesley was a graduate of the St Luke’s Episcopal School Class of 2021, an Eagle Scout in Troop 28, a 2nd year Engineering Student at the University of South Alabama, and a Brother, within the Sigma Chi Fraternity. A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ United Methodist Church on Friday 3/3/23 beginning with Visitation in the Sanctuary at 10am. The Service will begin at 11am immediately followed by procession for Internment at Mobile Memorial Gardens. After Internment, the family requests that the Celebration of Life continue with a reception/lunch at the Christ Center of Christ United at 6101 Grelot Rd, Mobile, AL 36609. After all, John Wesley loved to eat with friends and family! In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to St. Luke’s Episcopal School 1400 S University Blvd Mobile, AL 36609 for: John Wesley Holt Scholarship Fund.
Special thanks to the Mobile Police Department, Mobile Fire and Rescue Teams, the caring Nurses and Doctors of USA Medical Trauma and Critical Care Teams, and Legacy of Hope. John Wesley loved life and his last wish was to share just that. He was an organ donor and a Hero “Give Life”.
