The family of Kenneth Wayne Burnett is saddened to announce his passing on February 9, 2023, at the age of 79. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Burnett, his daughter, Elizabeth "Lou" Burnett, and his parents, Ira Henry and Elizabeth Burnett. Kenny will be lovingly remembered by his brother, William Ronald Burnett, his nieces, Aimee Burnett Porteous and Elizabeth Anne Burnett, and his cousin Ethel Irvine. He will be dearly missed by his faithful friend and morning coffee buddy, Wayne Fisher, and good friends and neighbors, Rita Bishop and Donna Williams.
The family would like to thank the Intensive Care Unit staff at Providence Hospital for their care and compassion and extend a heartfelt appreciation to Wayne Fisher for his support during Kenny's illness and hospital stay.

A graveside service and interment will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 12:00 PM, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6100 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, AL 36619.
